Project Scope Estimates
The reality is, no two projects or clients are the same. Sometimes more revisions are desired. Sometimes more refinement and attention to detail is appropriate.
Sometimes, something amazing takes one hour. Other times, a project can take a couple weeks. Common variables include: Quality of footage, amount of revisions. vision clarity, total length and difficulty of the project.
At Big Block, we're motivated to deliver quality results as quickly as possible, so that our clients are thrilled with the value they receive and keep working with us. That being said, we're also committed to offering unlimited client revisions, and all levels of difficulty, complexity and artistry. For that reason, rather than offer per-project pricing, or unlimited monthly plans, as some service providers do, we prefer an hourly model, where we estimate timelines and then get started. That way, if we're faster than estimated, our clients save, and if the scope of the project grows, enthusiasm and dedication to excellence is maintained. Win-win! We strive to be as accurate as possible with our estimates. And to be honest, a lot of the time we spend on projects isn't billed at all. For example, we don't typically count file rendering time, hardware reboot time, troubleshooting software time or preparation and administration time. You're paying for time spent creating, compiling, revising and delivering really cool projects.
